Certifications
The Spanish version of the UNE-EN ISO 14064-1:2018 standard, which redefines the limits for the calculation and reporting of an organisation’s carbon footprint and facilitates the inclusion of indirect sources of GHG emissions, proposes the following changes:
- The operational limits that the organisation had to define at the beginning of the carbon footprint calculation are now called reporting limits, which each company must establish and document prior to conducting the inventory.
- The former Scope 3 “Other indirect GHG emissions” is now called indirect GHG emissions and is further divided into several categories.
- New requirements are defined for some specific aspects, such as the treatment of biogenic carbon (that derived from biomass) and GHG emissions related to electricity.

Through our IPE Eco-Cosciousness program, we work on various initiatives aimed at demonstrating our commitment to the environment. One of these initiatives has materialised through achieving the
FSC® and PEFC certifications, which allow us to verify and accredit that the raw materials of our products come from responsibly-managed forests.
Both accreditations certify the right to use and distribute the FSC® and PEFC seals on the paper products that IPE prints. This certification can be verified through a unique reference, identifying us as a manufacturer that complies with both standards.
IPE is ISO 9001:2015 certified by the prestigious company TÜV AUSTRIA. Our labels are manufactured according to strict quality controls with approved European standards, from the reception of raw materials, through to the different manufacturing and storage processes and the final control and dispatch.
We care about the continuous training of our employees, in order to update them on issues related to new technologies and recycling.
It is a set of quality and management standards. The ISO 9001 standard was developed by the ISO/TC176 Technical Committee of the International Organization for Standardization and specifies the requirements of a good management system that can be used for internal application by organizations, for certification or for contractual purposes.
The ISO 9001:2015 standard is valid for any organisation, regardless of its size or sector, that seeks to improve the way it works and operates. Moreover, the best returns on investment come from companies that are prepared to implement these standards in any part of their organisation.
